The Eccotemp L10 tankless water heater is one of the hottest tankless water heaters on the market! The Eccotemp L10 tankless water heater gives you endless hot water at your cabin, summer cottage, lake homes, potting sheds, RV's, campers, horse washing stalls or wherever else you need hot water. The Eccotemp L10 tankless water heater delivers up to 2.65 Gallons Per Minute of hot water ranging from 80-165 degrees F - plenty for 1-2 hot water applications running at the same time. The 2 "D" cell battery ignition starts the flame only when water is running, so there's no chance of overheating and makes it perfect for off grid or areas where you have limited electricity. Designed for a more permanent installation, the L10 comes with standard 1/2" NPT fittings, making it easily plumbed in with standard fixtures.
The ideal operating range is 25~80 PSI. The system also works great on modified water systems such as a 12 volt pump. Total dimensions are 28" tall (35" with rain cap), 17" wide, 6.5" deep and weighs about 18 pounds. Some of the other benefits:

I bought/installed the Eccotemp L10 in December '10 and have used it as the only water heater for my 1 bed, 1 bath at almost 9 months now. This water heater lives up to its spec's and then some. A single set of batteries lasted 7 months even with constantly turning the hot water on and off when hand washing dishes. The heater keeps up with a shower and sink running at the same time, as long as you turn on the sink's hot water only. As this unit is for outdoor use, it is necessary to adjust the burner temp with the changing seasons. This can be frustrating for some; however, the temp range is wide enough to adjust for the outside temps of -10 F to 110 F that this past winter and summer have brought to Houston, TX.
The only improvement that I could suggest would be to lower the flow rate at which the unit ignites. This would solve the unit cutting off when too much cold water is added when showering. This issue is also a result of adjusting the burner temp; however, I do think the ignition flow rate is set too high.
Other than that, there is not a single water heater on the market that delivers as much bang for the buck.
